Excited about my buddies newest project. 1934 Fordor sedan. It'll have a mildly built 59AB flathead, 39 trans, 16" Ford steelies, 32 heavy axel and mostly stock otherwise. It'll run no fenders for a while then maybe fenders will go on later down the road. Stock interior with stock dash and gauges. Should be a real bitchin car. I'll keep you updated as best I can on it's progress. All the updates and pics will come via iPhone so, pic quality may not be the best but hey,... You get what I give you. Maybe a set of E&J's next to that bad boy.
Who says a 4 door sedan can't be a cool Hot Rod!! My unwanted 2 cents is... Shave the rear door handles and try figure out some door hinges which remain inside the door jams and don't stick out. I saw this on an old time Rod.... Looked very cool! Keep us posted! HC.
I am not a 4 door type but I can make an exception. I would be real pleased to be starting with that body. Real nice looking project.
Proberbly one of the best looking cars, to do a moredoor hot rod with. Im thinking fenderless will work well too. Im kean to see this one come together.
I just picked one of these up recently. I'm looking to sell it asap to pay bills but damn those really do have to be the nicest 4dr's.
Engine and trans have been rebuilt. Front frame horns need a little work before engine install. Kinda slow going right now. Will post some updated pics soon.
Love the Fordor , Looks beter than my old GAZ. heres some inspiration for your buddy. Three of my favorites found on the HAMB.
Well this Labor day weekend will go down in history. The 34 moves under its own power!! A few bugs need working out and we are still waiting on tires. DMV work to be done soon. Have video that I'm trying to figure out how to post. Hopefully soon I'll get it on here.
Hello compadre, where did you find the picture of that beige one? I would like to see some more of it...
car belongs to jim jacobs,at least it did,id assume still does, but who knows? Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I'm partial to the Jim Jacobs car... Shameless plug, my is for sale in the classifieds... Just sayin...
At last I got some pictures, thanks a lot! I found a little picture taken from behind in an old Hop Up (isssue 6, vol 6) but as the name was incorrect in the text I wasnt able to find it on the web. I bought a frame with a title (1933) last fall and got a fordor body with it so I guess that this is the way I have to go for now...Its a beauty so thanks a lot!
