Hot Rods Deuce Coupe 5 Window or 3 window

Here is one I built back in the late 60's.

 

Ok, I love 28-29's, coupes, sedans, especially roadsters. But damn you guys with the 32's sure have some super nice cars. Love the gray 5-window. Oh well, maybe someday.

Got both. 3 window I've had for 35 years and just got a 5 window shell that needs a complete restoration. Trying to have the 5 window done by the time I'm 75, gives me 4 years?

 

I say 5w but my son would not agree.

 

Don. 5w looks good, we're enjoying the 36, but it doesn't have any place to sit when you get out. Also it takes longer to clean .

I cannot tell you why but I refer the 5 window coupe. I don't like all of them that I see but in general I prefer the 5 window. I just wish that they had suicide doors though it makes it easier to get in and out of them.

 

Look at this coupe's tail lights, and the fenders bolted onto the quarter above the bead. Then go look at the "before" pics of the new Mearns coupe build at Rex Rods. Same car?

 

What are those lights? Not mustang. correct?

Not only biased but run bias.

 

No my old coupe is in Norwalk Ct. Same friend I sold it to back in the 70's. He is working on it and won't sell it back to me.

 

I can't say why or when exactly the change came but for years it had to be a chopped 3W to excite me and nowadays I seem attracted to unchopped five windows.

 

5 window, but it has to be full fendered.

 

If you can't find a 5W the other body styles will do; but try to get a 5W for the best.

 

3 window for me, More room than a 5 window inside
