Technical 41 Ford Hood

Will a 41 Ford sedan hood fit a 46-48 Ford sedan? Thanks

 

it will with the rest of the 41 clip and you will have to rework the front of the running boards

 

Thanks. I picked up a hood that I was told was off of a 47 Ford & it ends up being for a 41.
I don't have the rest of the front clip.

 

It will fit it just doesn't line up with the "mustache " of the grill correctly because the shape is different. I have seen a 46-8 with a 41 hood before. You could use it in a pinch but it's probably not what your wanting long term

 

Thanks I really like the looks of the 41 front. Maybe I'll try to find the rest of the clip.

 

Should bolt up but I think the front axle is a little narrower than a 42-8 might be an issue, might not.
