    LJHoney,
Small world, I worked at the Esso station at the same intersection for a brief period. I also worked at the drugstore across the street. I can't even remember the name, small store family owned.

That car is highland green in the door jambs, and would have had surf green top to match the dash and interior.

I don't know about the ESSO Station, but there was a Phillips 66 owned/run by Art Fisher.

I should see if that wagon is still in Bisbee....driven past it I don't know how many times, on highway 92. I expect it's not for sale, but you never know. It's green, I think it was repainted several years ago.

There were two across the street from one another(3 total), I don't remember which one was the 66. The one on the same side as the car wash? The Esso was right on the corner directly across from the car wash. It is now a food joint.

Is this the two tone you are thinking of?
Hope the OT wheels are not too offensive.

side note besides my 57 2 door handyman - I was after a blue 4 door for years in an older guys driveway....he finally had a load of dirt poured behind it....stayed after until after he died....he had a few 57's on the property but not as nice as that drive way wagon....then they all disappeared

I looked at a Belair wagon the other day. It wasn't green but it was in pretty good shape and 5500.00. It is in NH. PM me if you want. Ron

also, if you don't have much experience buying old cars, get someone who does, to inspect the car carefully for you. Most sellers are honest, but a few seem to want to get a lot of money for a piece of ****, and someone who doesn't know what to look for can be taken.

Squirrel, what I was saying in my last post is the interior trim level.

Are there different interior trim levels for the same model (150, 210, belair)? I thought there was only one interior trim level for each model, but I could be wrong.

The 210 models had what was called the "Del Ray option". It included a vinyl, waffle pattern to the seats and door panels, vinyl perforated headliner, and two tone paint; as opposed to a cloth headliner and cloth based seats/door panels. Other than that, all models had the same trim level for the model they were. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Fortunately, my husband is very good with going over cars before we buy them. He usually doesn't miss much (if anything). Plus there is a well do***ented history of work on the car I'm getting. I hope to post a picture or two next week. Thanks to everyone for all their help!

Thanks. I had looked at this ride, but its quite a distance, plus I was hoping to find one in Surf Green/Highland Green. I have found one closer, both distance and color wise.

Thanks for the info. I'm still trying to dig up some more pictures of our family car (when I was growing up) that I am wanting to have in my life again. I hope to have a car I've found in the next few days. Will post pics!

The Del Ray interor package was only available to the '55-'57 210 2dr sedan - not any of the four doors or wagons. A vanilla 210 2dr sedan has the '1011' model number on the cowl tag. An original 210 Del Ray club coupe (2dr sedan with Delray interior) will have a model number of '1011A' on the cowl tag. It's that 'A' suffix that tells it's a Del Ray.

Yes, I've spent too much time with the Chevrolet vin & cowl tag decoder do***entation for tri-five chevs.

LJHoney - you're a car tease... :D Looking forward to seeing what you and your husband picked up to honor your childhood ride memory.

So, I got my car! 52 years between pictures, but I feel like a kid again! Already changed fluids, verified VIN on frame (what a pain), and I've started buying goodies to make her MINE! Will post more pictures soon. Thanks to everyone for all your help and support! 1957 Chevy 1964 & 2016.jpg
