  19. Hey Jeff.......lovely Mount Elgin is down my way near Tillsonburg.

Ragerodder , your ride looks very kool man!!:) I've got alot of friends down your way but must say I've never seen it around. How long have you had it on the road? Do you hang with any of the Norwich Road Rebels or know my old club , Horsepower Unlimited from Simcoe/Delhi area?

Hey, that's got the look! Have you got any close-up pics of the front suspension or the T5 tranny in the chassis?

Thanks for the additional pics, RageRodder. My buddy is doing a Model A coupe with a 302 and a C4 tranny. I am thinking about doing an "A" Coupe with a 302 and a T5, so can use the ideas. What did your 5 speed come out of? Was it easy to get it adapted to the 302?

hey Southfork, the tranny install was easy, it's all mustang 5.0L parts. Just mix and match parts from 1980-1995 GT Mustangs to get what you need. There's two different flywheels though, pre '81 (28oz) after '81 (50oz) externally balanced. Good luck!

  28. Nice car!!! Tillsonberg and Leamington are so far away from Barrie that they might as well be on another planet. I find that rodding in Ontario tends to be very regional. I spent 20 years with the Road Angels out of Belleville, and the cars that showed up on "cruise days" from farthest away were from Kingston 75 Km to the East and Oshawa, about 100Km to the west.
I was involved with "Kawartha Streetrods" out of peterborough, and the same thing---max distance seemed to be in about 100 Km radius.
Now I've been in Barrie quite a few years, and the cars from farthest away are generally Toronto cars. (and yes, sometimes we see a car from Orangeville).
I'm sure that there are a lot of really neat rods in south-western Ontario, but I'll probably only see them on the HAMB.
Your car has a killer profile, but having built a couple of chopped and channeled rods, I know they are great for local cruising, but not tremendously comfortable for long trips.

  29. Looks like just about every Canadian on this board is checking this post so I'm hijacking it for a second. Anyone of you guys have a line on a 51 Ford Meteor grille?
