Technical Cool can

    Plumbing the Rumble and have a question. Does cool can come before or after the fuel pressure regulator?
    And should I put some heat shield on the fuel line between the cool can/regulator connection?

    cool can? what kind of 70s drag race car are you building, anyways? :)

    (I'd put it as close to the carb as possible, which probably means after the regulator, but that depends on where your regulator is, and you didn't show us a picture)

    Optimal - as close to the carb as possible but theres an engine in the way, so, the cool can usually mounts off the fender/rad support. Don't think it matters much before or after the regulator, except the regulator does generate a minor amount of heat.

    Are you running a mechanical pump with dead head regulator, or electric and a return line regulator?

    Simple answer is where ever it will fit and you can plumb it.
