Event Coverage Day Of The Drags 2016

Just a few pics from the Day Of The Drags at Little River Academy Dragway today. The highlight was a grudge match between EL JEFE's killer hemi rail (still tuning) and BEATNIKONTINENTAL's killer Tardel-built flathead roadster (stout!)... an angry eighth-miler with a photo finish!

I had a ball. Some tuff cars out there. That poster salesman has a cool ride.

Steve is still sneaking up on the clutch and carb adjustments and the flatty is a stout Tardel build, so they seemed a perfect match for a grudge pass... the photo finish suggests they were right!

 

Thanks to the Kontinental's for another great race. Hotter than hell, but had a great time. Looking forward to next year. Hope someone got lots of pics to post, I was too busy running the wheels off my Stude. Here's the one pic I took of our camp.
