    All--

    We've weathered a few storms over here at GARAGE in the last several months. Between being forced to find a new distributor and scrounging up some more much-needed operating cash, it's been quite a struggle. If you own your own business, you've probably been through the same kind of thing over the years.

    But, I'm more than a little proud to tell you that Issue #9 is just about ready to ship! It'll start going out Friday of next week and because of the current situation, we're doing things a little differently for just this issue: the store copies and the subscriber copies are shipping at the same time instead of subs getting theirs long before the stores. I just didn't want to make anyone wait any longer than they already have.

    Hopefully, you'll appreciate everything we put into this issue and there's just (pardon my french) an ***LOAD of more great stuff coming up this year and for many, many more to come.

    As always, if you have any problems or questions, email me DIRECTLY at:
    chief@garagemagazine.com. I'm not always on this board, so if you send me a PM or post a question here, I may not see it for several days or weeks. Easiest thing to do is send me a direct email to that addy above.

    I'm only releasing a peek at the cover here on the HAMB, so let me know what you think and I really mean it when I say that I'm looking forward to hearing from you--good, bad or ugly...

    All of a sudden i'm feeling very patriot. Stoner i've allwas thought your magazine was the best out there.I buy mine at the newstand so i have never had problems with delivery. You guys always seem to have a good balance of cars, girls,bikes,and builders. Visually your lay out is great and you have some of the best photos.I know its been a struggle but keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to the new issue.

    Cover looks great Dan, will you be sending out an email for distributors or should I drop a message in with an order now ? Gotta a couple of folks all over me for the next issue.

  23. I can pick a fault on the cover....."HELL" is printed right where her ****** is!

    {Actually, I think the text is way too high and to the centre. Is that the final cover?}

    Glad this issue is out though, although I fear a bit of interest might have dropped off because of the delay. It's hard to get that back.
