After getting outbid by crazy sums of $ over the last few months on Ebay, I've come to the conclusion that an original firewall may not be in the cards for my mordoor project. My first choice other than original would be from Dave at Roadsters.com. His firewall looks like a real nice piece, but he is unsure of when he will have more available, or at what price. The question is this, have any of you used (or inspected closely) the original style 32 firewall offered by Hot Rods and Custom Stuff out of the San Diego area? Any other ideas? Thanks for any input.

Well...I'll use the "f-bomb" word. Fibergl*** is out there for about $200 new. Brookville Roadsters has a flat firewall with beads for about $400. Speedway has one, but I forget how much. that should keep you busy looking.

We carry a stock style steel firewall with a nice almost un-noticable 2 " recess for $600.

Seen the 32 firewall in person. Pretty nice looking piece. Am planning to use one on my coupe here in the next year. Hot Rods typically has them in stock too.

Thanks for the quick replies! Shane, any more info on the piece you carry (who makes it, pictures)? My biggest concern is that the upper beads look correct, and that the feet look and attach like the originals do. Thanks again guys.

I have used several from HOT ROD & CUSTOM SUPPLY, they fit like a stocker and you don't have to fill all the holes.
