For anyone who thinks I meant the OP should PUSH his imaginary g***er with this truck, I'm sorry for your ***umption. The HAMB thought-police apparently create problems where none actually exist.

No imaginary g***ers were push-started in my mind for the purpose of contributing to this thread.

I JUST LIKE WOODEN NERFING DEVICES. jeez.......

I don't lose much sleep over spelling, but this forum is used as (God help us all) historical reference by lots of guys, so I do think that we should at least attempt to get that stuff sorta right, regardless if it interferes with someones ego driven ******** story.
Bennos ****on comes to the rescue yet again...

The lowered over chrome wheels/WWW's photoshop version looks the best to me, and you could use some full wheelcovers instead of the chrome wheels on a more modest budget, same goes for making your own wide whites. I'd probably paint the grille bars and bumpers off-white like the low-end 50's Chevy trucks would do, it's a good budget option.

As for runs and overspray, an aggressive wetsand and buff job can take that stuff out of the paint without having to repaint anything, which gets costly. If you burn through a few spots, oh well, still better than primer.

The truck has real potential with some hard hours of work but very little money needed.
