this was on my local craigslist for about 25 minutes one day. I saw it after it was posted and immediately told the seller i would be there tonight to pick it up and whats his address... No reply and it was gone minutes after. But heres another corvette for you guys

Timmy, Its a clone car not the real thing.lol.I would like to trade or sell it though so I can finish my Olds station wagon. I get the stink eye from the local sheriff every time I drive it in to town. The city police just wave and laugh.She drives and rides real nice though..I added the blue light and big whip antana. You can see she not the real thing by this saying on the rear. The Blue light comes off when I drive her in to town .Its just for car shows.Bruce.

 

I was sure it was..the pic of the orange Daytona with green door and fender threw me for a sec, but I realized the green fender is off a 68. The round marker light gave it away, but in my scrutinizing of this pic I failed to put 2 and 2 together that the fender was off an earlier car. Boy, you'd think the color of the door and fender would have been a tip off, and it was, just took me about 15 looks to realize the obvious....man its the shits getting old I tell ya!

What's the story with this one? It looks like it was pulled out of a lake - is this one of those deals where a car is found at the bottom of a lake after having been missing 40 or 50 years and the remains of passengers are recovered and identified?

If so, where was this one found?

 

Yet it was found along with another car that disappeared a year after this one.
It was pulled from Foss Lake in Oklahoma.
