Hot Rods Halibrand gears

Help,
I need to buy old and used Halibrand 1" gears, set #2,3,4and # 5s, for my model A 101 H quick change. I can get Winters gears but I needing to get Halibrands sets

Check with "Frames".

 

just curious, is there a reason the winters gears wont work with your halibrand?? they come in 6 spline 1" width?? is it just that you want "vintage" equipment??

 

Can you tell what is Frames??

I have ran the winter gears but they are very noisy. I got a set Of halibrand and not noisy at all.

Gear sets from Speedway Engineering are very quiet. The Halibrand gear sets I ran in the '60s were very noisy, and they were brand new then. Old ones will only get noisier with age.

 

muffler delete kit quiets every set of gears right down!

 

A 6-71 helps too.
