1952-59 Ford 351W Install in my 1956 Fairlane HT

    Just thought you guys would enjoy a pic of the stroked 351w engine I just installed in my 56 Fairlane.

    Sorry! I was in a hurry and rotated the pic one too many times. Also noticed my screen shot from my iphone had additional junk in it.

    I'll send more pics when I have time. I installed the aerostar springs, shocks recommendation from your thread, Drop'em stop'em front swaybar, Borgeson steering box, ididit tilt column, and so on.

    Sounds great! Makes me want to put a bigger engine with open headers in mine.

    In the front it is all stock with the Aerostar springs and an ECI disk brake conversion. I'm running 17x7 wheels with 215/55/17 tires. I have no rubbing so far. Keep in mind, I'm running the Borgeson steering box so I don't know if that is much different from stock.

    Out back, I have a new Ford 9 inch narrowed 2 inches so I can run 17x8 wheels with 235/55/17 rubber.

    Fortunately, I have a buddy that has a 58 Fairlane and a 66 Fairlane. I tried their wheels and did a bunch of measurements before I purchased my wheels.

    When a Ford motor sounds that good,why in the Sam H would anyone put a Chevy in their Ford ?
