Wonder if all these Ford flatty guys can run em at 120k for a couple of hours on a hot day?
    Maybe we should find out?

Sounds like a challenge and the start of a great new event I have cooked up.

Mine runs 170 on 185 stats on a 28 degree day! Up to 190 on a really hot day, where it has trouble is slow moving, needs airflow. Not horrible id say, you?

Good Photos 1Shot. I really like your interior.
Is the tube shown the brace? Question - what did you do for door latches and rubber bumpers and could you take a photo. This car already had some sort of aftermarket latch installed but needed some re-working. I haven't installed dovetails which I'm not yet convinced it needs.

Sorry I missed your question - a year ago! I wish I wouldn't have as your heim joint idea is a good one. So far the cables run through the "looms" welded to the crossmember as you can see in the photos but they are still just d****d across the rear wishbones enroute to the backing plates. The body has to come off for paint eventually. I will tie them down then - maybe with brackets and heim joints. Sorry for the missed comment.

Nice car! Next tub I build will be a phaeton like yours. I am searching locally for an original.
