I've been collecting parts for my 47 Pontiac and have reached the point where I will begin cleaning her up and fitting the motor to the ch***is. I just got a 1962 cadillac 390 and trans for it. I'm uneasy about the Jetaway Trans and hope to mate a muncie 4 speed to it.
My friend gave me the Beard race seats that we hope to turn into bomber style buckets with some sheet metal and welding. The motor will be at the machine shop next week.

I'm trying to keep it pre 1965 in the parts department where the budget permits. Any ideas or suggestions? Pics to follow...

    Thanks Wes
