I worked too hard to make the money to get my model cars and thought too much of them to destroy them. I remember getting into a hell of a fight with my cousin when he was putting the firecrackers to one of his models one time. ended up I got my ass beat for fighting with him, he got his ass beat for tearing up a brand new $2.00 60 Ford pickup, and my aunt gathered up all his models and gave them to me. So all in all it was worth getting my ass beat as I ended up with about 20 AMT 58-61 cars that he didn't get to yet. That was over 50 years ago and he still brings that up every now and then, I still have the cars and rub it in to him how they are worth such big bucks now, and yes, he is still a DICKHEAD!!

Hell, I blow up my models with firecrackers too, but just the ones I didn't like or the ones I didn't want anymore (most were Fords).

The dork factor on some of those cop cars is really high!
