    In all but the first photo of the 1946 Merc in the link you posted it's running the 1954 Chevy caps.

    Not sure about the caps in the first photo.

    Kind of look like 1955-56 Buick.

    Very obvious, thanks Squirrel. I guess the angle was throwing me off when I was looking at the Buick caps straight on.

  9. I still have a set of the Buick caps shown in the first picture.
    They are 55 Buick Roadmaster. My first car was a 55 Buick Special, same cap without the two bar spinner. I got the set of Roadmaster hub caps for $15 back in 1965

    The picture you posted of his Merc is NOT running Chevy caps - but a custom cap customizer's often made.
    There are many posts of this Merc - on Kustorama that show the stock 54 Chevy hubcaps.
    Like was said - Buick ran the spinners caps - like was shown in the first pic - on the high end cars like the Roadmaster.
