So a few weeks ago I bent a pushrod on my 390FE, changed that, got it all running again and today I checked the timing, at the mark is like 90 degrees over to the drivers side of the engine, the mark is about 8 degrees, but as I said, it's gotta be nearly 90 degrees before the timing mark, is this a new timing chain job?
Are you sure your timing light is on number 1? If yes, make sure damper hasn't separated and no longer indicates top dead center at TDC. Good luck. Farmalldan
