I've got an 8" rear out of a Granada in my model A project. The E-brake cables are 63" long. Does anybody know of a shorter cable that'll fit?
If your looking for new cables the lokar cables are great and you can get them in cut to fit sets that let you make it as long or short as you want.
When I was building my roadster my neighbor was building a WWII Jeep. The Jeep call was just the right length. You might want to check into that.
I always see lokar lokar lokar... I don't personally like their stuff. I use absco 370100 cables on all my builds. Should be about 20 usd and in stock at most auto parts stores.
I went on NAPA's website and searched cables. There were different connections and different lengths and I ordered 2 new ones from them when I determined what would fit my application.
Thanks for all the good suggestions. After doing the math and considering the hassle of cutting factory cables to fit, the Lokar universal system was the way to go for me.
