Those heads look bitchin', and especially so when you have your Bud's name on 'em. Love 'em.

  3. Probably little rough for what you want. But the patina looks like good match. Love watching this. Keep it up. Cool to see a roadster built on an obtainable budget. Even if it is 1 of 1.

Bruce, I hope your Flathead gets done soon because at least one of us needs to make a pass on the Sand in October.

  9. Well just talked to machine shop Friday and now that they have the new cam they can finish the valves. I'm on track to start building the motor by the 15th. It will take me around two days to build it because I'm super picky, and am a clean freak when I build a motor. I like to hand massage all the parts once I in stall them. So hopefully it will be back in the car by the 17 th and then work the bugs out and get it broke in. Then trog here we come.

Well, you know.........My old Grandpaw use to say something that is kind of fitting to those above pics. "Son, that's a little too much of the good". LOL

  13. How did you mount the weed-whacker? And what type of old school drive are you using to run it? Will two carbs on the flattie going to be enough with the extra drag of the whacker?;);):D:D:D

As the airplane guys say,"take offs are optional, landings are mandatory."

Bruce, it looks like the fan is 4.25" from the face of the generator pulley to the face of the fan, if that is roughly the number that will fit in your car, I will shoot some pictures and shoot them and a price off to you.

  30. Thanks for the photos Bruce. I looked at a couple fans this weekend that I thought might be what you were looking for. It has been so long since I seen one I was not sure about them, but your photos tell me what I had in my mind was correct and the ones I seen were not the right one.
Sorry dude, but I will keep digging
