Why would anyone ever sell a forty ford? They are such wonderful cars. All it can do is lead to future regret

By my standards, yes, George, as long as it is a deluxe. I follow the Orange County 40 club member criteria: 39 deluxes, all 40's and 41 commercial!

When I was stationed in El Paso in 1962, I got orders to SE Asia and had to leave in a week. My first 40, a standard coupe, had to be sold. Went to another troop, a guy from CA. Talk abot many years of future regret!

These last three pictures are of a friend of mines 40. It's a little OT but a great car with a late model Hemi in it. He usually puts old 32's in his cars but tried s0mething different this time. If you are in the market for a great coupe this would be a good one.

This blue coupe had some interesting bumper stuff going on. The owner said he would get them plated someday.

Same blue coupe as above. Door panel is kind of unique.

I never saw the owner of this car so I don't know if it is an old custom or or not.

I was pretty happy to have my 40 awarded the Forty's forever pick. Kind of different award . It is an enameled aluminum sign..... I'll take it though :)

You are welcome both of those 39's were beautiful restorations! The tan one had a columbia two speed and rolled right along on the free way.

ScottyB's should give you a free steak now and then for all the free publicity they get from you!
