Folks Of Interest Not Ripped Off or Cheated or :D

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by porknbeaner, Sep 6, 2016.

  1. Just to change current negative sentiment on the HAMB I wanted to say that I recently purchased a pair a pair of windshield sliders for my A from @WallingfordHotRods.

They were cheap, I needed them and he had them for sale. They arrived today and while it was not mentioned in the ad he also included the knobs. I was going to make knobs but now I don't have too. I am happy as a pig in shit. :D :D :D

Now I know its hard but its your turn to say something nice.

I'm happy you're happy Bean. And there's nothing wrong with happy posts.
I've been on this board 15 years and I'm happy to be here. I'm also happy to be a little taller than I was when this picture was taken. I wasn't too happy then...

I ordered some valve covers from Mooneyes last Tuesday for my Y Block.
They arrived Thursday. Beautiful & excellent service.

  15. I have had a number of transactions with hambers and all of them have been what you would expect.

I only buy from guys that have been members that participate on the main forum and refuse to buy from the fair weather guys that only use the hamb to sell parts. HRP

  16. I have bought and sold a bunch of stuff on hamb, ripped off once, couple things not as good as they claimed, but have also had guys throw in extras, and some things better than they claimed. Pretty much been positive overall. They guy that ripped me off is on the bad sellers list, so hopefully that stops anyone else.

I would like to add CAL to the recent best sellers list. I bought a part from the classifieds and he shipped it before he even got my check. And the part was just as described. Thanks!

Sounds like the transaction was slicker than owl shit on a green hickory limb!

Okiedokie sent me a wing window frame and wouldn't even let me pay for shipping.

I was browsing CL Sunday to save some cash. I found something of interest and sent off a message. They guy said he wasn't home and to leave the money under the mat. I was pretty shocked, took a nice drive, got what I needed and saved some cash.
