And a great contribution from Bean-Town! ( you entering the "Head of the Charles" regatta in that canoe??)
Extra points for the Citgo sign too! For those who don't know it's next to Fenway Park.
Time to put on some "Dropkick Murphys" and have a Sam Adams!!

Another shot of the coupe at "Billy the Plumber's" shop, "downtown" Byfield, visiting with Ricky La Plante's '29.
I rented the bay with the open door before I built my garage ( if those walls could talk!!!)

I was honored along with several other car club members to participate this morning in the 5th Annual Wounded Warrior Benefit of Hope. We drove from a Veterans Memorial to one of the local American Legion Posts. I must say I was moved by the huge size of our motorcade consisting of our cars, the Patriot Guard and other motorcycles along with a few large trucks. The honored Veterans rode in some of our cars. Local residents watched and waved along the route. Some even decorated their yards with American Flags. Near the entry to the Legion Post we were greeted by a giant American Flag raised in the air by two local Firetrucks. The emergency response teams lined the finish of the route saluting the motorcade as we p***ed.
This is the kind of America I was raised to respect and love and would want to see more for my Children and Grandchildren.

Not my car but my town with a very cool back story on this 55 Nomad.
Met a guy named Terry at a local Cruise Night. His 55 Nomad had been sitting in his garage for the past 30 years. The car definitely shows its age but still is in amazing shape. Recently while he was away, his kids sent the car to a friend who reworked the brakes, fuel lines and whatever else it needed to get back running. When Terry got home they got him back behind the wheel and told him to enjoy the car again. This guy was all smiles and loved talking about his car. At the end of the evening with his two grandkids in the back he cruised on home still sporting a huge smile.

A couple blocks over from my place, the old "Sherman Food Store" has been converted into apartments but retains its exterior charm...
