  5. Gary, my dad also owned a Chevron station in Santa Paula California. I can remember the first time I was charged for a road map. I pulled into a station in Davis California and asked if I could get a map of the Bay area. He said it would be .50 cents! I thought he was kidding. I think this was about 1968
