This is my brothers 58 Chevy Brookwood.Last weekend we took out the old 307/th350 setup and got ready for the 350/T-56 setup. So far,it has really been pretty simple. The major hurdles have been modifying the stock trans crossmember and cutting the trans tunnel to clear the 4 inch taller T-56. We swapped out the automatic brake assembly for a standard shift from another 58 Chevy. The T-56 came from a 93 Z-28 that has a hydraulic master and slave to operate the clutch. We used the original 58 clutch linkage hole on the clutch pedal to mount the Camaro master rod to.Then cut out a small area on the firewall to clear the master and fabbed up a mount. We did not take alot of pics but these should give you an idea of what we got done.

What are you using for a flywheel and clutch? Looks like you have an early 350 which is a two piece seal as opposed to the LT1 which ran a different flywheel. The reason I ask is I have a T56 I'd like to run in my 37 plymouth but ran into this problem.
    Thanks

The engine is a 77 4 bolt main.We used a Centerforce flywheel P/N 700107. It is for the 2 piece seal to T-56.The clutch and pressure plate are stock 93 Z-28.
