November 16, 1955 - September 9, 2016​

 

So sorry to hear of his passing. I had met him once many years ago when he owned the red 3-window. His posts always put a smile on my face and questions like — " What are the front and rear tire sizes?" really grew on all of us wanting to know the answer. His 3-window started a trend and thankfully ended up with Bruce who will keep it perfect and drive it like Larry did. He will be missed by all of us who love Deuces. RIP!!

Larry's posts were instantly recognized without even having to see his avatar! And eventually everyone would post them before he could. That's a legend, and he filled those boots with ease. I was parked next to his 3W and Bruce at the start of the Poker Run at Clover Point in Victoria. Like Larry, his 3W is unique and recognizable the minute you see it. One of a kind. Godspeed Larry!

 

A real fixture on HAMB. Guys like him are hard to find and even harder to replace. RIP Larry~!

That picture could have been taken by me. That is eggzactly how Larry introduced his self to me thru the window of his car. He had been looking for me at the HAMB Drags when I walked up to his coupe and said howdy then busted his balls over being a gold chainer

 

I will miss his unique contributions to this board. Ain't going to be the same without him.

 

IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLACE! All we an hope for is to try and carry on, maybe he can bless us with some divine intervention from time to time! Joe

I just found out.Larry went out on his own terms and he leaves a massive amount of folk who will miss his take on all things traditional.I talked to him a few months ago and he never let on that this was it,but I guess that was his way.....RIP,Larry.

 

We sure are going to miss Larry. I really wish I had met him personally. It was exactly a year ago we were all having a good time with his thread about a "dadgum" frame for his RPU. Fun guy.

 

Big loss to the HAMB and all those who knew him. Condolences to his family and friends. Godspeed Larry.
