Unfortunately I broke the curved gl*** lens to my Stewart Warner vacuum gauge Model 419226.
It is the cup mount style. Looking for any suggestions as to a fix or source for a replacement lens.
As always your know and help is greatly admired and appreciate.

I've bought lenses from a clock parts supply place, but they have a bit too much curve. APT Speedometer in Minneapolis can make the lense to the exact curve you need, but it will cost more. They might need the old one to match to. They can also install, as well as tune the gauge up while they are at it.

    Is the gauge 2 1/16" or 2 5/8" or 2 3/4"? HRP

    Thank you for helping.
I measured across the face of the bezel ring. It's diameter is 2 and 13/16ths so I am guessing the official designation is 2 3/4 gauge size.

Try using a cover from an old alarm clock. If it was my situation I would dig in my pile of old steam gauges and such and cannibalize one.Or hit up a antique place or 2nd hand store for a clock. My wife has a sander for doing stain gl***,kind of like a mini drum sander with a diamond drum. Sand carefully down to size.

Try contacting SW, otherwise ask a welding supply house who rebuilds gauges.

Thank you, I did check with the folks at Ronell Clock and they did have a 2 1/4 in diameter curved lens ($3.00!) so I ordered (2) Just incase my first effort fails which in my case will most likely happen.
By the way this company has a mul***ude of curved lenses incase others run into this same situation.
This wealth of information is why H.A.M.B is such a great resource thank you to all who chimed in.
