Hell yes! My countdown has begun.
The only thing close to as difficult as getting my car done in that years time? Shuttling it 16 hrs and 1,100 miles west of home.

The road surface made for a workout on the suspension. After a few runs up the hill there was enough oil dropped by the other cars that you could set up on the corner drift OK. Before that, on the rear bias tires I was running you could feel and see the rear tire rolling on the sidewall. Kind of a funny feeling. Hope that description makes sense to you.
The high horsepower Packard powered Roadster was getting fuel with me this morning and he was showing me the "bite" area where the flat of the tire tread had rolled 3/8" or so. 1474241851903.jpg

Went back and looked at the photo again, that isn't the hill climb hill....stinking little phone screens. It is the milled surface of the interstate.... I stay off the interstate, they don't go fast enough for me so I don't know how it is to drive on that.

They don't go fast enough thats funny:D. Yes I know it was highway and those cars look to be running bias in the pic...I run bias and its a little quirky here and there (but is always been manageable) just wondered if you might have heard some comments or drove on it yourself. Sorry to run off topic here a bit. Thanks for the info and I stay off the highway as well. Great event an really awesome bunch of iron you all are running there.

The view of the pit area as it fills again. We had a parade through the course and back to the pits before starting the Hill Climbs

Thanks for the pictures! There were cars I didn't even get to see that you got photos of. It was a great time, and I only heard good things from everyone about the event. It was a blast!

Great time. My third time there. More fun each year. Anyone know Ben the Aussie with the right hand drive 32 roadster No. 39 from Austin? If so have him contact me on here. I helped fix the car.
