I'm turning my 1930 Coupster into a Roadster. I found a nice clean Roadster body and decided to replace my Coupster body. Took a trip up to Grass Valley with my Friend Klas to collect it. Work has started on the body swap. Decided to stiffen the frame while the body is off and do some upgrades to the motor. Putting on a triple carb setup and a mild cam to give it a better sound. Hopefully it will turn out good.
Why not build a second car ? seems you have the extra body and frame, maybe a banger engine en your on your way.
It's well known how many A's were built, but I still can't believe these decent survivor A's are still being found. What I mean is, that back in the 60s- 70s, "everyone" was restoring A's and rooting around in every shed and barn back then.
Yes, people where restoring them and hot rodding them back then, but the was 50 years ago! Times fly's..... time to find one in the barn and do it again. underwk, looks like a good solid body. Have fun.
More progress on the Roadster. Frame boxed and the new body going on. Adding a new cam and triple carbs for the motor.
I really like the way your coupster came out. It is one of the few coupsters I can say that about. What is your reason for wanting to change? Charlie Stephens
I just came across a really nice roadster body so decided to go that direction. A friend took the coupster body and is using that to build himself a coupster.
That body is incredible! ( the roadster's)- nice find. You freakin' guys out West have it made when it comes to sheet metal (and whole cars.) Here in the Nawtheast, we have to build 'em out of scraps! Enjoy!
Well I liked your Coupester, but the new body is bitchin. The car looks completely different now, those few changes rock!
If we could just get Kevin to sand blast that frame we could get cracking on that leftover coupester project! I'll start a build thread for it, gonna be Nailhead powered!
