Hot Rods I went to 3wlarry's funeral

That made me smile...what a way to go!

 

That send off was just right f'n on. Never met or talked with Larry but I really enjoyed his sarcastic sense of humor.

 

Thank you, Mr. Mac; both for conducting the "funeral" and for sharing it with us.

There is some precedence;
Al Teague gave Gray Baskerville a similar funeral at the end of a 400 mph Bonneville run in 2002.

I'm going to forward that video to a few of my car loving friends because that was a great way to take Larry for his last ride. May he and his wife RIP....

A good friend's ashes were spread that way by a land speed car at Bonneville. Way to go. RIP Larry

Years ago I had a friend that was really big in R/C stuff. He died overseas in a auto accident. His cremated remains where brought back and given to hi best friend. He took my buddys best / biggest R/ C model and stripped it down loaded the ashes and flew it out to sea...as high and as far as it would go! Out of sight actually...

 

Ashes to ashes....Dust in the wind...

 

that was beautiful.

 

A grand exit for sure, he's looking down smiling today.

Along with the man himself, this will be remembered for a long time.
