You might want to take a road trip. These shows are far enough away, but close enough to flip the car. Charlotte, Englishtown, Carlisle, and Hershey.

That engine is probably in someone's race car.

I don't know about Minnesota but they can't legally in Wisconsin and they have conducted sting operations where the police have someone try to scrap one without a title.

I'm not sure about Minnesota either. I have scrapped a car in North Dakota with no title just last summer.

Yeah, theft recovery bought from insurance Co. Did the original owner recover the car? The C/L ad has a lot of internal engine details. Not something you would typically get from an insurance auction/sale.

@Moriarity and @Hot Rods Ta Hell yes, the car was Recoverd and trier son bought it from the insurance co. It was beat on a little bit and the motor and tranny were making noise so the owner went through it. the intreior was slashed up a bit so his wife fixed that and the car is now back for sale again.

ad says rebuilt after theft recovery, new wheels&tires...pictures don't look like a newly rebuilt motor, wheels are the same...hmmm

Wheels and tires are different. Had steel 'blades' w/ BFGTA's. Now has Rally's w/ GoodYear's.

Story aside, that looks like a fairly decent '64 SS for the money. That'd probably fetch a few more K in these parts. Or at least in the asking dept.
