    I remember the original whopper size...a heck of alot bigger than they are now.....had to be 5" or so in diameter!

    So what's a "Micky D's"?? ...a local nickname for McDonalds? lol...for a minute I was wondering if Micky D was a famous hotrodder that happened to own a McDonalds. and what's with the "open all year" sign? My guess that's in a summer tourist area? interesting. Also makes me wonder if McDonalds keeps track of how many burgers sold they are up to now.

    To be perfectly honest I have heard McDonald's called Micky D's since my twin girls were small and they will be 40 years old next April. HRP

    Didn't miss it by much,when the Whopper was introduced in 1957 it was 37 cent. HRP
