Looks like I've taken a big step in my life. I've been accused of having a H.A.M.B. mentality on a forum which may as well remain nameless. Seems some guy with a Gremlin has issues with us, sorry I missed it. ( did dig it up to see what the fuss was about). So now my wildest dream has come true, some dork thinks I'm a H.A.M.B.er. Thanks guys.

The guy has a point, in the end I thought it was all about rodding, I guess to some its all about the hairstyle, tattoos and chuck taylors. I guess the harwork work doesnt make a difference if you dont have the look?

I guess the next time I see a "traditional rod" on the side of the road needing help, I wont stop to help till I get my do-wop tape and my sleeves finished.

I wouldnt take HAMB lifestyle as a compliment in this case. The traditional hotrod seems to be the trend these days how many of you guys were driving lowered mini trucks or VW's when that guy started his hemmie. Its called devotion, something he seems to know more about than some here.

Umm... the HAMB is a forum about traditional hot rods and customs... There are plenty of other forums out there dedicated to hot rods in general...

Furthermore, if ya don't like the way we run the joint you can go piss up a tree. :)

    Thanks for your time,

  7. I am a not categorized car guy. I have customs, muscle cars, and brit sports cars. When I am on the HAMB I talk about my 48 dodge chop top and my 55 ford custom with a 272 Y block and original ford-o-matic. I don't ask this group questions about 5 speed conversions on a 1960 bugeye sprite. When hemmiegremmie asked for the groups input on his car, I am surprised that he was offended that he get the feedback he did. If he asked the same group on an AMC site he would probably have a different response. I guess I do not see what the fuss is, but When I am on this site, I think of myself as a HAMB'er, so I guess I give you all permission to think my other cars stink.
