WTF are you talking about? I don't see one person with a sled on them anywhere.... A toboggan is a sled, they have on knit caps...
I say chop it......it's your car, and nothing beats looking thru a chopped windshield....everyone else is just watching your car go by, so they really aren't looking at it from your perspective. I have a new pack of sawzall blades if you need em.
We call them tukes in NH! I would like to amend my previous statement about chopping Deaths Doorstep. The pic of it chopped looks great too, but it definitely doesn't NEED it. I know I already said it but, that is one killer ride. I'm a fan for sure.

I'm not surprised... the chop debate exploded on this thread. That body needs to be chopped... Its out of porportion- the top half needs to be lighter than the botom half... it needs to be weighted on the bottom to look right. It could be chopped 2" and that would fix it... or it could be chopped 4-5 inchs... that would fix it too... its not like that body is a prize... its just a model a... cut it. The east coast look wasnt popular because really it wasnt that cool... Tuck
The Sawsall is resting on the roof along with tape and a sharpie..........But I continue to clean and organize the garage..........I stare at the car alot and go from chop to no chop..............so I need to just keep doing the garage thing untill I have an answer..............I do have that chopped old 32 five window hotrod body that I could build and leave the A alone and still have a chopped coupe................but agree that the car needs a small chop to work even better.......................Littleman

I am getting such a kick outta this thread. If there was ever a traditional thing to do to a coupe, it would be a top chop. Now Littleman wants to chop his coupe..... so why the whining?.............Just go ahead and cut it....save the pillar pieces so it can be "restored" someday....maybe even restored by a "HAMB sawzall cop".....or the "HAMB improper design squad"....both groups are to be considered armed, dangerous, and impossible to bargain with. It's just METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nope the 32 is mine...... damnit. haha I think I found a frame for it today, a really nice one...... I think it needs to be chopped 5 inches.
