Picked up a set of slot wheels last night and it turns out they are 2 pairs. One pair is Superior Industries 15x6.75, the others have no identifiers other than a "15" on the back. All tires are the same "H70 15". Can anyone figure out what the second pair is? Virtually identical on the front, as far as I can tell anyway.

Left wheel is unknown, right is Superior Industries.

  2. Could be same maker,, different time frame, Different sales brand. Get the tires off & check machine work, markings ?

If I can find somewhere open tomorrow I'll see if they can pop them off for me. Think the tires are with anything? The tread is still good, but I was told they're old fibergl*** belt tires. I may end up selling two of the wheels as I think I'd rather have 15x8 in the back to fit more tire. The notches in the back throw me off since I've only seen them on unilugs, but the faces are direct drill for 5x4.75.

The notches that are throwing you off allow the maker to drill any bolt pattern in the same casting.

Ah, so do they need something to fill the notches when bolted to the wheels? Are they unilug even though they're only drilled for a single pattern?

No...you can bolt them on as is. It's made that way in the back so the same casting can be machined for different light patterns as noted above...

They look close. These don't have holes for the center caps and the brand isn't cast into the wheel, but as s****iron said they could be from a different time frame.

  9. The backside recess in the center hole may have been to hold a center cap.
It appears that a stepped lug nut with washer was used before.
