THANKS! Great to see original speed equipment literature, having the car it went on is off the charts special. Merry Christmas! Bob

Great shots! Not many Vintage race cars get to have the original builder/driver wheel them. I'm sure some asked before but what was his reasoning for swapping the frame rails side for side? Bob

IIRC it was to drop the driver/seats between the rails and get back the room lost when channeling.

I actually thinks driver sits deeper in then a stock body.

Just a heads up, have you considered POR?
I'm not a dissing you or the car, I really like the car,
but (and this is a big ****) ones you loose it, you can't get it back!

I know it's an survivor, but don't let a survivor get any worth.

I'm so happy to see it on the sand, and it makes all the pics go a little misty to know the original owner/build drove it again.

    Good work and nice updates.

Rod1 thanks for bumping this thread ...This car is by far one of the coolest hotrods I've seen on here. I mean that in the ingenuity and originality of the build not to mention the history.

I would love to find a car someday with such a unique history.
Eli, Amazing job on saving it and everything that followed including the win and gaining Buddy as a friend.

    Thanks for sharing

Any updates on the Hinman roadster? Are you doing the inside show circuit now? Thanks again for doing such an awesome job.

    You got that right, Mike!

    Mr. Green,
I don't know as it's been "discounted"; apparently it didn't need to be addressed as the car ran like a scalded cat on the beach, AND on the NH back roads( I witnessed it personally in both situations last year- how lucky am I?)
