image.jpeg Not sure why changing the angle at which the truck sits makes it look so much shorter. But I love the new profile. Now the frame has a similar sweep in the rear as they do in the front. I like that.

Absolutely, good job, and I think that it looks better with the current stance!

    Dumprat,
My daily driver is a Prius:D. I have a woodie (wagon). So I really like how you did the bed! Wood is good. The whole pickup is great!

Did you put the wood over the metal bed? The wood is under the metal on my '34

Metal bed was gone. I am replacing it with wood. It is 1" thick strange hard wood of some sort.

image.jpeg Nice traditional primer job with brush and roller. Complete with pine needles, dirt, a bug or two and lots of runs. But it is one color and looks straighter already. Needs more sanding and filling but that will have to wait. Already way better than it was. No more 1" thick gobs of bondo over holes and big dents.

Good looking bed, dumprat. Re-did one for a military M-37B1 that had a tree fall on it. It came out nice, but I wish it had looked that good.

IMG_1267.JPG Made door plugs today and fiddled with. A bunch of little stuff. Slow progress but progress none the less.

IMG_1269.JPG Fitted the Plymouth emblem to the back of the cab today. Once polished and the center Plymouth badge is replaced with a red jewel light it should look WICKED!

And I ground all the wood mounting bolts out of the back of the cab.

IMG_1273.JPG Needed a change of pace today so I finished my lamp. Still needs wired but all the ***embly is done. Chevy headlamp and a crusty brake drum. Even has wheel bearings for the swivel.

I need some cheap braided cloth wire for the plug.

    I like the holes!
I can relate to your plight. I am a self proclaimed Renaissance Man myself.
I was in the emergency room tonight. Told the Doc if he's having any trouble with my sutures I could probably make him a special tool for it.[emoji16]

What kind of Badge was that Dumprat one of these? I poked fun at what your going to call it a while back...So I got the bug again to have some fun with it. Hope it gives you a chuckle...:D All that hard work is really coming together.

Yup that is the badge. I am going to ditch the Plymouth part and just run the red jewel.

On an all black truck I think it should look just right.

Not being a jewel kinda guy when I artsyed that up I found the name of that jewel shape is called a trillion...hope it doesn't cost that...changing Plymouth to Plyoorrd may just have to be art...but it would be kinda cool to do that. Little bit of a tongue twister saying that...:D
