I can't stop. We just picked this 1954 Desoto Powermaster. I'm stoked about this car. It has 44,000 original miles. Has very little rust. Needs really nothing but some TLC. Just thought I'd share my excitement. Heres a couple pics; BTW...Dig those hubcaps!! ******Knuckles
Looks kool-what mill does it have? What are your other plans or it? You know, other than keepin' the caps?
I'm parting out a '54 Firedome if there's anything you need. Of course, the engine and grille are gone. Car looks great, I love everything but those horrible hubcaps. Please tell me they've been removed. Cool to see a club sedan too. Most 53-54 DeSoto's that I see are four doors.
The car has a flat 6. This is good because I know them pretty well. As for the hubcaps they're stayin'!! Squablow, I may need a few things I'll let you know. Thanks. ******Knuckles
Something I find that is cool, about a month ago I picked up a 276 hemi for my "A" that came from a 54 Desoto. Kind of ironic that I would pick up almost the same car. ******Knuckles
My club has a Sportsman Hardtop, and I almost bought one myself before I got my '55 Ply. I was ready to give the guy cash, but he couldn't find the ***le. He sold it to someone else, and found the ***le a week later
Those caps are so KUSTOM KULTURE, I just had a mini throw-up! Cool car. Not one you see all the time.
I know where there's one of those sitting in the ghetto here in cincinnati, but I believe it's a 4-door. It's on my list of cars to knock on doors and ask about next time I have a spot free in the garage/driveway...
