    I used a Unisteer Electric Power Steering unit with a stock steering box on my '53. Works quite well...

    Borgeson, makes the setup, should be bolt on kit, not cheap though. What engine? headers?

    I'm 99% sure the Borgenson unit will get you a quicker ratio box as well....a big plus imo. Had they been available when I did the Rack and pinion, I for sure would have looked into it as an option if it did not present any clearance issues with my 4.6.

    I skipped the hoses and power robbing ps pump. Many newer cars today have EPS. An easy install that saves space and works perfectly. You can even adjust the effort needed to turn the steering wheel. You can expect spend about a $1000 with EPS.

    I used the borgenson unit on my 55 works real well i will be using one on my wagon you have to cut the steering column an add a u joint

    Slicks, can you tell me how much you cut the steering column or if you used a new column, what length column you used ..Thanks
