Found an oval race kart for the girls to race this spring that I can actually afford, only problem is it's up in the Minneapolis / St.Paul area and shipping kills any sort of deals... Anyone from up there heading down this way - heck getting it to somewhere in iowa would be a help. The kart is complete minus motor (no fuel to worry about smelling), they don't have roll-cages so they'll fit in the back of a mini-van with the seats out or a small pickup.

They look similar to this one (not the kart and just a pic I found on eBay):

keep it up here for awhile (PM me and keep me in the loop) as there is a really good chance I'll be doing exactly that drive in a month or so.

If you're not in a real rush, Michelle and I are heading to Kearney, NE via Des Moines around the 18th or 19th of May... would it fit in the back of a Grand Cherokee?

Not in a hurry and Kearney is quite a bit closer - a little over an hour from here. I would think it would fit if the rear seats were down - I can call the guy and get more exact measurements, but I know it fits in a small pickup with a 6' bed easily, and fits in an 8' beded truck with a tool box up front - Might even be able to remove the front bumper and bodywork to make it "shorter".

  5. I can store it for a little while if you need it. I'm in St. Paul.

I'm pretty sure the guy will store it for a bit if I give him the money for it, so don't think I'll need storage - thanks for the offer though!
