Anyone have a good subs***ute for the hose/tubes that connect the heater box to the heater motor part?
Some of it is round (about 3" or so in diameter) and some is square about 3" on each side with clamps?
    Thanks
    Jim

The quality of Dennis Carpenters rubber for those vents on 1952-54 Fords is garbage, mine rotted apart in less than 6 months. From the blower motor I used 4'' aluminum dryer vent (see picture) the vent rubbers that are square on one end round on the other, some guys have found that using a section from a 7:50" X 16" inner tube which is much thicker than the aftermarket vents will hold up very well.

    Thanks Jeff
That looks like a good alternative to me.
Anyone know about the square stuff?

I used rad hose from semi's. Comes in various short lengths and diameters and just cut to fit. Its very durable and looks ok I think.

We have some parts dealers here that repair and service semi's, got it from them along with the nice stainless clamps. The diameter that the 55 and 56 use is 4" ID.
