Birth certificate on the driver's side of the cowl says she was born 4/30/1955 at Ford's Atlanta Assembly Plant in Hapeville GA. My father was working in the body shop there at the time, so Daddy leaded the seams on this car. Front suspension collapsed on driver's side due to the crossmember under the radiator rusting out and letting the lower control arm bolt pull through the crossmember, a common problem on '54-'56 Fords. The car is complete mechanically except for the air cleaner. She has a 272 2 barrel, factory duals, and 3 on the tree. Lots of rust in the floor pans and rockers. Front fenders are rusted to the point that it would be easier to find better ones. All of the glass is good except for the driver's door glass, which is flat glass and easily replaced. Bumpers are the only major pieces missing. Dealer emblem on the deck lid says that she was sold new at King Ford in Anniston AL.

Note the light blue Pontiac stationwagon. "Parisienne," top of the line Canadian model.

Cool thread! 1476176121904.jpg 1476176131092.jpg 1476176152342.jpg I checked out these over the weekend terraplane and dodge light truck. The story is, they were brought to the property along with a dozen old holdens to breed up red backs for gear stick knobs set in resin!

This was at an salvage yard auction last Saturday. There were about 260 cars. Unfortunately, most went to scrappers. This Tempest had nice 1/4's, doors, and trunk lid. However, the entire floor had fallen out of it.

Here's a couple from my uncles place. He truly has been downsizing over the last few years. He is now 81 years old, and does not want to leave to big of a mess to his kids.
Couple dodges on the end are now mine. Molly the 1949 B1C Is just about ready to fire up.
I only put oil in the cylinders, refurbished the carb and starter, put in a battery and will try to start it in a few days. Also comes with a B1B parts truck and another 1/2 truck. Last time Molly was licensed and running was 1978.

  19. The best way to find out would be is to pop its hood.
They came with everything from Chevy including a couple of inline 6's.

I bought these 12 today that were sitting and rotting.
I may be able to sell a few and the others I will strip and send to the crusher.
