    I was not a fan of the El Capitola until I saw the feature in Kustoms Illustrated magazine. Radical kustoms are so kool because they stretch the imagination.     I remember an article in Classic and Custom a zillion years ago showing pics of it and the current owner was keeping it a garage for her grandson. Hard for me to choose which I like better, the gold or the pink it is now.

    Yea - that was pretty crazy how that turned out.
    That picture was taken by the Goodguy's photographer at the Heartland Nationals.
