Am I seeing the start of Pre-War influenced hot rods becoming more popular? I'm used to seeing hot rods with 16" Ford 35 wire wheels, but lately more and more are sporting the larger diameter wires of earlier years. How about posting some pics of A's with the larger wheels. Please tell us the wheel diameter on pics you post......if you know.
The first one is my coupe running 30-31 model A 19" with stock size goodyears the rest I believe are 16". Stole these from a friends pics of the hot rod hill climb. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Great thread a *****. I love the wicked chopped Tudor in your first post. I believe it was built by a guy on here in Oregon, Elmitcheristo. I dont see him on here anymore but here is a link to his album page. He has built lots of cars this style. Very cool. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/media/albums/my-cars.6918/?page=7 The above pic is one of his cars that I saw at Billetproof WA a few years ago. Loved it. 16" wires on the coupe I think.
Thanks Tom. No ,I never started a build thread on it . I should have. I have a lot of pictures of it from the start thou. Your 40 convertible is really nice. You don't see to many of them around. Are you going to put a top on it later? Bob..............
