The Colorado Dirt Drags in June would make a great shake-down run before TROG http://hotroddirtdrags.com/
Its WAY lower. The cowl is about 34" of the ground. The back tires are either 31.5" or 32" tall..... I'll go measure the cowl white one.....
When are you going to be in Cheyenne? What kind of parking do you need? I live in Cheyenne and would be willing to help you out if possible. John
Hey John, that would be great! I think we will be in Cheyenne late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning and looking to Park my moms Tahoe there while we drive to NJ for the Race of Gentlemen and then we head back. So maybe a week or so. Here is my cell Number let me know what you think. You can text or call 360-540-1051.
This Wednesday or Thursday the 18th or 19th? Should not be a problem. you are welcome to park outside my garage behind my mom's house. I will give you a call when I get out of work after 4 mtn. I have a few things to do Thursday morning but will be available after 9.
The white single seater is 44.5" lol The elephant ear and steering wheel on the black car stick up quite a bit, 3 or 4" I think its about 37-38" at it tallest point. Such a crazy little car, lots of fun to build.
Like on your local dirt track, with the camera man at the beginning of turn two, with you turning right but going left.
Pretty fast for a T!! But faster then a Miller/Crager equipped model A or hopped up Flathead V8, I'm not sure but hope so!! We will find out in a few weeks
Sorry about the crank loss, but the above ch***is shots show some great build details with T parts. Bob
I saw this pic on Cyclone Kevin's thread, and thought it should be re-posted here ... The proportions look great when you see it with the driver!
Thank you Simon, I've wanted toi see a side shot of this car ever since the first post about it, sure looks nice. Just how close is your arm to the left rear wheel? Bob
How long did John Gerber campaign the original, what was its win record, did he ever crash it? I really like the detail work you put into this build. Bob
