    I have built 20+ HotRods over the years, and this one has been the most fun, outside the box, No Rules.

    The concept is a late 50's - early 60's style HotRod, that is Drag raced inspired with a touch of deco.

    I'm in the middle of metal work on the body now, and paint color is driving me crazy. My good HAMB buddy, Drewfus, tells me it should be Dark Gray Metallic, with a Black ch***is, aluminum colored rear wheels and headers, and the engine possibly gold or ?

    I'm wonder what it would also look like in like '40 Ford Marron, with the old cream color on the ch***is and a Gold motor.

    In a crazy way, I like the Aluminum color I have on it now, although it does not have the old style look you would have with other colors.

    So, take a shot at it, let's see who can come up with a combination that really complements the styling of the car.

    Thanks in advance!
    Glenn

    That shinny metal will not be easy to color. Do you have and bigger pics, you know, HUGE ones?

    I just emailed you a LARGE photo, let me know what you think!

  4. Chrysler makes a color called "electric lime." It's a 2 stage so it goes on relatively easily and I think green is underused. With the body green, paint the firewall a cream color and even though that looks like a nailhead, paint that ****er the brightest orange you can come up with. This combo should also give you lots of colors to do your ch***is with.

    with white pin-flames

    and wide whites

    I'm not in the know of vintage colors, but here's my idea based on the things mentioned;

    No problem!! :)

    Here´s my shot! Changed the color to flat metallic-green and added some red scallops on the side and at the headlights! White rims with whitewall diagonals! (What you cant see is the white tuck'n'roll interior and the white dashboard with some cool pin-stripes! That was also the hard part! ;))

    It might not be that innovative, but I like it! :D

  20. I found a pic of a vicky body, drag-style, so I kinda did it up like it, but for some reason, I can't post the pic.

    Found it!
