Good to see that you got it fixed. I didn't even consider a rusted out frame. I've seen lots of them that were rusted away including one that had had several sacks of fertilizer sitting in the back for a number of years before a friend drug it home, We ended up s****ping that frame because there wasn't enough there to fix.

Thanks again for the update. There are many that we never find out the resolution. Sometimes it's best to just let the guys who have the knowledge, experience and equipment do it.

Back in our stock car racing days we often visited a local frame shop after hours with cold beer. It usually took us longer to get the car off the trailer and on the frame rack than it took him to straighten it. He'd tell us where to hook on and he'd run the hydraulics. Then we'd sit and drink beer for an hour with him. He would tell us how other racers would drop their cars off still coated in clay making it difficult to see what was bent and making a mess on his frame rack. We even helped him work on a couple of these other cars or pushed the car he was going to work on next onto the rack.

Guys that straighten frames seemed to enjoy their jobs.
