Art & Inspiration Can anyone identify this grill shell?

I picked this up today in an antique store with the intention of turning it into a wall hanger. I got the blessing from the boss, and all I had to do was buy her a vintage dress.

Does anyone have any idea what this is? Looks late 30's to me.
