Customs are for getting girls - hot rods are for getting rid of them..... This Custom runs, drives and stops awesome with a 283 V-8 that has about 6000 miles since rebuild and 350 automatic trans. Has front bucket seats. Interior is in good condition with white vinyl, and the dash is in metal flake blue. Exterior is in epoxy primer white. Brand new Lokar 23" shifter. Wide white walls with chrome smoothies have about 2000 miles on them. Comes with about 90% of the trim and a brand new hood ornament. Most of the exterior trim needs fasteners. The windows and some of the trim has been hit with sandblast - if you want show quality, would need to be replaced. Speedo works, fuel gauge and other gauges in the dash do not. An accessory gauge panel covers all the necessities. This is not a trailer queen - this runs and drives, day and night. Issues: Rear quarter panel holes have been repaired with overlapped metal - some rust holes still present. I received the car in bare metal and needed to get it protected - these have been body filled and epoxy primered over (I have pictures). Floorboards and frames have been patch repaired. Some patch repairs could still be done in some minor spots. Transmission rear seal leaks when it sits. Has been previously run on airbags (I have hard copy pictures - posts for the rear are in the trunk), currently on traditional shocks with two inches cut out of the front springs and 2 inch lowering blocks in the rear - bottoms out on big bumps. I have owned the car for 1.5 years - got the interior reinstalled to get it driving this past summer. Have put on about 500 miles of highway, city, back and forth work - all without any issues unless you count all of the head turns from everyone else on the road. Many miles of driving the wheels off of it as-is, or it is a super solid Custom that you can continue to drive while you take it to the next level. Clear Kansas ***le. If you make an offer - please be within a reasonable range. Low ball offers will be ignored.
Price reduced. Also important to note. Currently on traditional shocks, but set up for air bags (I have hard copy pictures - Posts are in the trunk). 2 inches cut out of the springs, 2 inch lowering blocks in the rear. It does not appear to have ever been off frame - several patch frame repairs have been made, could use a couple of more. Floorboards have been patch repaired (I have hard copy pictures). Come take this off my hands.
