This car belongs to Fatflatty and he bought it a few of weeks ago to replace his 54 ford that a drunk driver totaled for him.This car hasn't been on the road for 12 years but Jason (Fatflatty)has been busting his ass to get it going for the Roundup.He swapped the motor out of his 54 in to this car,replaced all the brakes and brake lines , lowered the car and lots and lots of little time consuming stuff.He doesn't have alot of time to work on it and is still new to the hobby but still did the work himself some of it for the very first time ever.He got to drive for the first time today and man is it a cool car!!! If you see him at the round up give him a pat on the back because he deserves it! Here are a few pics before and now.I also have some video that I will post when time permits.
Very Cool. I like the hood off. I've been thrashing on my plymouth everyday after work too. It will all be worth it next weekend.... P.S.........no time for a chop?
hey thanks jamie for all the help and patients with me on this car. whats better than building and driving a cool car? thats having an great friend to help you build it. like jamie said we drove it for the first time today. drove it around a few blocks then to get exhaust on it. had some kid take off running, guess cause of the noise. any ways it felt great to finally drive what we ( me and daddyo54 ) have busted our asses on for weeks. see ya at the round up.
hey the video came out pretty good. im impressed. yea thats my goof ball kid in the back seat acting like an idiot. he was pretty excited to be with us on its first run.
Sorry to hear bout your 54,but great news about the new shoe! Its always good to know that new guys are coming into the hobby and thrashin on cars,not just greasin their hair All the hard work will pay off next w/e..... Your shoe looks alot like my shoe that I've been thrashin on too.....Shiny

Cool. Glad you are going to make it. Jamie, Scrape, and all the guys up there from the Sherman/ Denison area are all stand up great guys. Just wih I was a little closer to hang out with yall more often, See you in Austin
...nice shoe,...there's somethin about a hoodless shoe that just says "Hot Rod" !! Yours looks great as is, love that weathered paint !! Good luck w/ it.
